Cookie Policy
What cookies are, and the limited use we make of them on this website.
Last updated: 8 July 2026 · Version 1.0
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.
2. How we use cookies
We keep cookie use to a minimum. This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function securely — for example to maintain session integrity and basic security. We do not use advertising cookies or non-essential third-party tracking by default.
3. Cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for core functionality and security. These do not require consent under UK/EU rules and cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Functional (optional) — if we later add features such as remembering preferences, we will describe them here and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Because we currently set no non-essential cookies, this site does not display a consent banner. If that changes, we will implement a compliant consent mechanism.
4. Third-party requests
To render our typography, this site currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and your IP address is processed by them. This does not set advertising cookies. If you prefer to avoid third-party requests entirely, the fonts can be self-hosted — see our notes for operators.
5. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site work. Guidance for common browsers is available at aboutcookies.org.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to our site or the law. The "last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
